About Us

We are a not for profit organisation supporting the local community to access and find help when needed.

Established in 2020 Re:store Axe Valley CIC emerged from the Seaton Coronavirus Community Group (SCCG), building on the fantastic help provided by volunteers, along with the community spirit that emerged as response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Relationships with our local community is integral to who we are and what we do. We aim to support the local Axe Valley community and individuals, and through numerous initiatives we have worked closely with local authorities, organisations, charities, businesses and schools on projects providing support and services to the entire community.

If you want to visit us pop in to our community cafe at Seaton Hospital open Wednesday through to Friday 9am-5pm, and open to community groups on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We help Re:store a balance where challenges of life have taken their toll. We are seeking to help restore lives to a place of flourishing, working towards the goal of people looking out for one another.

Our aim is to bring a smile back to those who’ve been through challenging and difficult times, helping to connect, walk with or provide the help which is needed.

We are keen to signpost and prescribe social initiatives run by local organisations as well as our own projects to help reduce mental health issues and increase well-being in our community.

Establishing relationships with local businesses we are able to offer help to those in need locally. Helping to sustain local business whilst also providing support through them to the neediest in the community.

We support and work with the amazing volunteers in our community to provide teams for projects whilst promoting and encouraging opportunities with local organisations.

Everyday life presents different struggles and problems for everyone and if we can continue to encourage a large percentage of the community to get involved in small ways then our reach becomes far greater and the friendships which are built will in many cases be the first step for people being restored.

"I would just like to say a huge thank you to Ben and his team at Restore, for personally delivering to my door a set of wooden bunk beds for my daughters who are both extremely happy with them. As I do not have a car it would have been impossible for me to pick them so it was really kind Ben to assist me with this situation. Fantastic local community help and support! "

"A huge thank you to Re:store, the volunteers and contributors who have gone to great lengths to support families within the community with their Christmas Hampers."

"I wanted to say a big thankyou for the generosity and kindness of the Re:Store team and community this year. We have been fortunate to receive the Christmas hamper and it will make a big difference to us, and especially my children, over this festive period. ."
